GoodDeeds International Berhad (GDIB) is a non-profit organisation incorporated in Malaysia on 19 August 2020. The people behind the organisation are volunteers from Malaysia Singapore, Indonesia and Australia. We are passionate about our vision of uplifting disadvantaged communities out of their poverty cycle through enabling and empowering them. Instead of giving handouts our strategy is to jump start their development through initiatives in the field of education, healthcare, economy and infrastructure development. After this initial intervention these communities would be enabled to pursue their own development independently.

Our membership is open to all like minded individuals and organisations from around the world. We want to pool our resources and scale up our initiatives for greater social impact. We also aim to raise funds and attract talented volunteers to share their knowledge and experience.

For a start we have identified a group of remote communities with a population of about 1500 people on the islands of Mabong, Buyu Besar, Buyu Kechil and Pasir Panjang located at the eastern end of Indonesia’s Riau Province. Through our five-year Masterplan, these communities would be enabled and empowered to independently sustain their future development.
